At Cotton Baby, we strive to provide reliable and timely delivery for all orders. We're proud to offer FREE shipping on all UK orders with no minimum spend, dispatched promptly from our Leicester warehouse.

We believe that quality organic baby clothing should be accessible to everyone, which is why we offer complimentary shipping on every order, regardless of size or value.
Delivery Area
We currently deliver to UK addresses only. This includes:
- England
- Scotland
- Wales
- Northern Ireland
International Shipping
We do not currently offer shipping to international destinations. Any orders placed with an address outside of the UK will be cancelled and refunded in full.
We're working on expanding our shipping options to serve customers worldwide. Please check back in the future or contact us at support@cottonbaby.store to be notified when international shipping becomes available.
Order Processing
Orders are processed and dispatched quickly to ensure you receive your items as soon as possible.
Processing Times
- Orders are processed within 1-3 business days
- Processing excludes weekends and UK public holidays
- Orders placed before 1:00 PM are dispatched the same day
- Orders placed after 1:00 PM are dispatched the next business day
Order Confirmation
You will receive:
- An order confirmation email immediately after placing your order
- A dispatch confirmation email once your order has been shipped
- A tracking number to follow your delivery
Tip: Please check your spam/junk folder if you don't receive confirmation emails within a few minutes of placing your order.
Shipping Options & Delivery Times
We offer several shipping options to suit your needs. All delivery times are estimated and based on business days (Monday-Friday).
Please Note: Delivery times are estimates and may be affected by factors beyond our control, such as weather conditions, courier delays, or peak periods (e.g., Christmas). We'll always keep you informed if there are any delays.
Courier Partners
We work with trusted UK courier services to ensure reliable delivery:
- Royal Mail
- DPD
- Evri (formerly Hermes)
- DHL
The courier assigned to your order may vary depending on your location and the shipping option selected. You'll receive tracking information once your order is dispatched.
Order Tracking
Once your order has been dispatched, you'll receive a tracking number via email. You can use this number to:
- Track your parcel's journey in real-time
- See the estimated delivery date
- Receive delivery updates via SMS or email
- Make delivery preferences (e.g., safe place, neighbour)
If you haven't received tracking information within 24 hours of your dispatch confirmation, please contact us at support@cottonbaby.store.
Delivery Attempts & Missed Deliveries
Failed Delivery Attempts
If a delivery attempt fails (e.g., no one home to receive the parcel), the courier will:
- Leave a card with collection information
- Attempt redelivery on the next working day
- Send an email or SMS with redelivery options
- Hold the parcel at a local depot for collection
Safe Place Delivery
You can often specify a safe place for delivery (e.g., porch, garage, with a neighbour) using the tracking link provided. This ensures your parcel is delivered even if you're not home.
Collection from Depot
If redelivery is not convenient, parcels can usually be collected from a local depot or collection point. Details will be provided by the courier.
Contact Us: If your order has not arrived within the estimated timeframe, please contact us and we'll investigate with the courier immediately.
Delayed Deliveries
While we work with reliable couriers, delays can occasionally occur due to:
- Severe weather conditions
- Industrial action or strikes
- Peak holiday periods (e.g., Christmas, Black Friday)
- Incorrect or incomplete delivery addresses
- Courier operational issues
If your order is delayed beyond the estimated delivery time:
- Check the tracking information for updates
- Wait 2-3 additional business days for delivery
- If still not received, contact us at support@cottonbaby.store
- We'll investigate and resolve the issue promptly
Damaged or Incorrect Items
If your order arrives damaged or you receive incorrect items:
- Contact us within 48 hours of delivery
- Provide your order number and photos of the issue
- Keep all packaging and items until the issue is resolved
We will:
- Arrange a free replacement or full refund
- Provide a prepaid return label if needed
- Investigate with the courier to prevent future issues

Delivery Address
Correct Address Information
Please ensure your delivery address is complete and accurate, including:
- House/flat number and street name
- Town/city and county
- Correct postcode
- Any special delivery instructions
Address Changes
If you need to change your delivery address after placing an order:
- Contact us immediately at support@cottonbaby.store
- We'll do our best to update the address before dispatch
- Once dispatched, address changes may not be possible
- You may be able to redirect delivery using the courier's tracking system
Undeliverable Addresses
If your parcel is returned to us because the address is incorrect or incomplete, we'll contact you to arrange redelivery. Additional shipping costs may apply for redelivery to corrected addresses.
Peak Periods & Busy Seasons
During peak periods such as Black Friday, Christmas, and other holidays, courier services may experience higher volumes, which can affect delivery times.
We recommend:
- Ordering early to ensure delivery before special occasions
- Allowing extra time for delivery during peak periods
- Checking our website for any holiday delivery schedule updates
We'll always communicate any expected delays and do our best to get your order to you as quickly as possible.
Business Days & Holidays
All delivery and processing times are based on business days (Monday-Friday). This excludes:
- Saturdays and Sundays
- UK public holidays (Bank Holidays)
- Christmas and New Year periods
Orders placed on weekends or holidays will be processed on the next business day.
Packaging
We care about the environment and use eco-friendly packaging materials wherever possible:
- Recyclable cardboard boxes and mailers
- Biodegradable packing materials
- Minimal plastic use
- Reusable packaging when possible
Your items will be carefully packaged to ensure they arrive in perfect condition while minimizing environmental impact.
